Description: Project for the industrialization of an innovative injection molding process for recycled PET (R-PET) suitable for food contact, through the introduction of a dedicated production line. The intervention aims to achieve a process with high levels of automation, efficiency, and quality stability, significantly expanding the applications of recycled materials for manufacturing. The main expected results are: increased use of End-of-Waste materials to replace raw materials; prevention of the production of non-recyclable or difficult-to-recycle waste; increased demand for R-PET, fostering the development of the relevant recycling supply chain; increased efficiency of PET/R-PET molding processes, reducing energy consumption and related emissions.
